Easy to adjust across a broad size range - "Y Front" Tracking Harness.
This harness has been design to fit a wide range of very small to medium breed dogs.
Black Dog developed the "Y-Front" Harness to allow an exceptionally close fit to an individual dog's body shape.
This is most important in a sport harness, where a dog is working hard and needs full body mobility and it is especially important to have a well fitting harness for young dogs learning a sport.
The Y-Front Tracking Harness gives you active feedback through the "floating lead connection" allowing you to more easily "feel" your dog's activity at the end of the lead and the Girth Straps will actively tighten if a dog tries to back out of the harness.
Since its initial release and based on customer feed-back we have changed the way the webbing is threaded to make them much easier to adjust, with the fly away ends around the girth you can simply fit and forget.

By measuring in a Figure 8 as shown, your dog gets the correct size and best fit in a Y-Front Harness.
Check the description below to see how and where the "Figure 8 Body Measurement" should be taken.
Use a soft tape measure.
Place one end of the tape in the middle of your dogs back (above its front legs) bring tape down and under the front leg, bring tape across the front of the chest and cross over as you take it around the back of your dogs neck and back down across the chest and under the other leg to come back and join with the tape on your dogs back. (as shown)
Pull it to be a tight, snug fit and read off the measurement.
Now check the chart below, to select the correct size.

Absolutely LOVE this harness!
By: Leila on 25 July 2024I searched for ages for the perfect harness for my working boy and ended up getting him one of these and I absolutely love it. It slips on and off easily over his head so I don't have to try and wrestle his feet/legs through complicated loops while he tries to wriggle free, it adjusts really well so it fits him perfectly, and it doesn't hurt his neck if (when!) he pulls, in fact it reduces his pulling, which is amazing! He clearly find it comfortable too, as he happily pops his head through it for me to put it on and off him. I'm just about to buy another one for my second dog. 100% recommend :)

Fantastic
