The only collar for walking whippets, in my opinion. Safe, strong and smart-looking. My boy is now 7 and has had his collar since he was 10 months, it is still perfect.
Whippet Collar Two-Tone - 20mm collar/ backpad 40mm - adjustable from 28-36 cm.
We have 3 options for our Whippet Collars available in either:
-a solid colour,
-a Two-Tone option with a coloured collar strap and a black 40mm Backpad
-or the Two-Tone option made with Stainless Steel components (Select dropdown option for Hardware above)
Black Dog has worked with Whippet breeders to scale down our sighthound design and produce this elegant and practical collar specifically for the breed.
The Whippet Collar has a wide, tapered neck pad and a tightening action for security, so your dog can't slip its collar.

Please Note: Apple Green is only available in 2 tone Whippet Collars.
We do not supply solid Apple Green Whippet & Sighthound collars - this is due to our commitments to the Greyhound Adoption Programs (GAP) around Australia which use Apple Green as their official colour collar. GAP collars are only awarded to dogs who have successfully completed GAP retraining programs for retired racing greyhounds and are used by rangers to quickly identify these retrained greyhounds.
Blackdog Wear has undertaken not to produce Apple Green Sighthound and WhippetCollars to help maintain the integrity of these retraining and adoption programs.
This Blackdog Wear product is made and manufactured in Australia, Melbourne and carries the seal of approval.

Our whippet is 4 year old bitch. Had two of your collars since a "teenager". They are now looking a bit worn and as she likes to look smart we are purchasing a new one

My whippet has been wearing this collar for 2.5 years and it's still going strong. High quality, perfect fit, beautiful.

Designed especially for Whippets

They gently tighten around the neck if any pressure is exerted and are designed especially for whippets, whose heads are thiiner than their necks and who readily slip conventional collars. When my boy became a recalcitrant teen, I turned to a Blackdog training halter. More recently, my whippet has become a Delta Therapy Dog. As such he may only wear a conventional or martingale collar. The Black Dog Whippet Collar was the perfect choice for a Delta Therapy Dog. As well as being non slip, it gives me that tiny bit of extra control as well as being lovely and soft on the frail and easily damaged hands of the aged care residents and hospital patients, my dog visits regularly. I give the Black Dog Whippet Collar a 10/10. Our red and black one even matches our Delta Therapy Dog Uniform! A must have, for every whippet in Australia and beyond!
